PROJECT OBJECTIVES

The main objective of the MultiMonD2 project is to design, build and develop automated systems which are  capable of providing support and mobility to specialized microlaborators for various analyzes needed in water quality studies.

Reaching the general objectives will be the strenghted by achieving the intermediate objectives (O) of this project.

O1. Project and sub-project management. Risk Management.  (CO - P4)

O2. Defining the  concepts of monitoring , storage of information and cognitive adaptive  control of air and surface robotic systems (CO – P4)

O3. Conceptual design and projection of (air and surface) robotic system components. Preliminary integration in software architecture (CO - P4)

O4.  The sensors concept, development and integration in mobile microlaborators for specific analyzes (CO, P2 - P4)

O5. Conceptual design, realization and testing of the portable plasma system for chemical decontamination (CO, P2)

O6. Consortium Workshop. MultiMonD2 Work Forum (CO - P4)

O7. Evaluation of local characteristics of the Danube course. Optimization of the MultiMonD2 platform. (CO - P4)

O8.  Collaboration with local decision-makers in the Danube river basin areas for information on  local issues  (CO, P3).

O9. The microlaboratories integration, evaluation system functioning in laboratory,  operational problems remediation (CO, P3, P4)

O10.  Testing integrated platform "in situ" to various locations  which depend on

available resources; the measurements effectuation  (CO - P4).

O11.  Equipping the MultiMonD2 platform  with the portable plasma system and demonstrating actual chemical decontamination capabilities, preliminary tests. (CO, P2, P4)

O12.  Data Processing and Analysis (CO - P4)

O13: Preparation of documents  with results, evaluations, predictions, recommendations (CO - P4)

O14:  The results dissemination at national / international level by attending conferences and workshops; publication of ISI Journal articles / ISI Proceedings / patent applications (CO - P4)
